I’ve always been interested in the work behind what people do.
Ideas deserve somewhere to go.
I spent much of my career in education, helping people make sense of complex work, find what mattered most, and turn ideas into something others could understand and use. Over time, I realized that the part of the work I loved most wasn’t tied to a particular role or industry. It was helping people see the possibilities in what they already had and bringing those possibilities to life.
What we intentionally design shapes what people experience.
I have spent my career looking closely at what happens when people enter a space. A classroom. A school. A professional learning room. A website. What do they notice? What do they understand? Do they feel like they belong there? Can they find what they need? Does the experience reflect the people and purpose behind it?
That way of thinking has followed me through every chapter of my work. Whether I was designing learning, leading professional development, supporting an organization, or building a website, I kept coming back to the same questions: What do people need? What will they experience? And how can thoughtful design make the work clearer, more useful, and more human?
Different work. Same question: What are we creating for the people who experience it?

My career has taken me from the classroom to instructional coaching, school and district leadership, supervision, professional learning, and consulting. Each role taught me to listen closely, understand the people behind the work, and make complex ideas clearer.
Across every role, I found myself doing the same kind of work: organizing ideas, shaping experiences, making information easier to understand, and thinking carefully about how people move through what we create.
Today, I bring that experience to website design, helping small businesses, professionals, authors, and organizations turn what they know and do into an online presence that is clear, thoughtful, and distinctly their own.
THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE WORK
I've seen education from a lot of different seats.
I've worked as a classroom teacher, literacy interventionist, instructional coach, school and district leader, supervisor, presenter, consultant, and leadership coach. Each role gave me a different view of the same thing: the people doing this work carry an extraordinary amount of knowledge, responsibility, creativity, and possibility.
That experience shapes how I work with people now. I listen. I ask questions. I look for what may be difficult to see when you're standing inside of it. Then we figure out what could come next.
THE WORK KEEPS EVOLVING
I don't believe the best work always begins with having everything figured out. Sometimes it begins with noticing something that matters, asking a better question, or realizing that something you already know how to do could become something more.
That has been true throughout my own career, and it is part of why I love working with people who are building, questioning, changing, or trying something new.
What we already know can become the beginning of something new.
